Many times we find ourselves going through a storm, crying out for God to take it away. But sometimes God doesn't answer those prayers. Sometimes God doesn't give us that miracle.
Pastor Mike teaches from the miracle of Jesus Walking on Water to show there are times when God doesn't do a miracle FOR you, because He first wants to do a miracle IN you. And when you learn to trust Him fully, soon you'll be walking on water too!

Jesus hung on a cross along with two thieves. Two criminals who had completely different perspectives of the Savior. One couldn't see through the pain and suffering, and maybe the darkness of his own situation, to see the Savior as anything but a dying man. The other man, through the eyes of faith, saw beyond the pain into the eyes of hope...and was invited into Paradise because of His belief.
What does it take to enter Paradise with Jesus? Simply the faith of a thief on a cross...in a Savior who would rise again to new life.

The greatest Word ever spoken by the greatest man who ever lived!
This last word, "Finished," holds within it the culmination of the entire Gospel. What more is left for us to do to please the Father? Furthermore, what more is left to do for us to love one another? Nothing. Jesus did all the work on the cross, so love could now do its work in us. There's nothing left for us to do...but love.

Though many have prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior, very few believers seem to experience true healing in their lives. Satan has control over us through our hurts and habits, and the shackles have kept countless Christians from become all they were meant to be in Christ.

Colossians 1 shows us that if we understood just how Big and in control Jesus is, not just in our world, but in our lives, and in our problems, we would be quick to relinquish control over to Him.
When our faith grows, our problems shrink in His presence.

We continue our Living on the Edge series today, as Pastor Jeff takes us from "separating" from the world, to having a sober self-assessment of ourselves.
We all have weaknesses that bring conflict in our lives, but in Christ those weaknesses can be turned into strengths to be used for His glory.
But for that to happen, we need to understand them, and hand them over to Him for change!

Conforming to the styles around us is a common practice. Sporting an edgy haircut, or trying to fit into "skinny jeans" can actually be kind of humorous. But conforming to the practices of the world is not so humorous.

Today Pastor Mike shows us how the ways of this world are actually designed by Satan to destroy God's work in us.

At the heart of the sweet Christmas Story is a scandal. A engaged teenage girl, pregnant with child. Could this be Joseph's? Or is it really of the Holy Spirit?
Most people don't believe in the Virgin Birth these days. Is there a reason to? Is it really necessary to the Christmas story? Does it matter to our faith today? You better believe it! Listen as Pastor Mike explains the three reasons we still need to believe in the Virgin Birth of our Savior.

Over the years we have created this domesticated version of the Christmas Story. Mary is riding on a donkey, a nice inn keeper prepares a warm place in a stable, and Mary seemingly has a pain free delivery with quiet animals looking on.
The Savior's birth, however, was laden with scandal: a virgin becoming pregnant, and a couple being turned away from a warm room to stay in. But in the midst of such negativity, God chose to show His character of love, and gave to us His one and only Son.

Many of us believe that when we stop running from God, and start making better decisions in life, our faith journey is complete. But God does not bring us back just to "look better," and to change our actions! Ultimately God brings us back to change our hearts! God's heart is soft towards people who still have yet to know Him, many of whom are forgotten by us.
How much more concerned are we with our daily problems than we are with the hurting world around us?

In Jonah 3 we find out just how much Grace God has for people. He extended grace to Jonah while he was in a fish, and then as Jonah began to preach in Ninevah - God's grace overwhelmed an entire city of over 650K people. The people turned to God! Are we convinced that if we shared God's grace with this city that God could turn every heart toward His Son Jesus? or do we have to be convinced like Jonah? His grace is enough, for us, and for every one of them. So let's share it with Palm Coast this week.

Today is our annual Thanksgiving Service, where we allow Lifecoasters to share about how God has blessed them this year. It's always an inspirational service, as God's children give testimony of His wonderful grace. Give Thanks with us.

Today Joshua Toro brings the message from 1 John 4. John warns the children of God that not all things they hear are from the Lord. Some have been sent to take us away from God's path, or deceive us into to following another way of life. But this only leads to great destruction in our lives!
We need to press in to God and His Word, stay close to our family, and test the spirits to make sure we are hearing from God.

Pastor Mike continues our series in 1 John 3 where John faces an epidemic running through the church. It's an epidemic of murder. Every church since the 1st century has had to deal with those who don't love, but rather hate. And it's this hate that corrupts the body and eventually kills it. But if we are truly children of God, then we will love one another, and bring life to the House.

Today Alex works through chapter 3 to show us our need to live like Christ.
When we refuse to let go of those dark areas of our lives, we hinder our progress and growth in Christ. And we hinder the family.

Pastor Mike continues our 1 John series in chapter 2. Many in the Church claim to know Jesus, but their actions say otherwise. They desire to know all about God, but they hate God's children. They would just as soon watch Church on T.V. then go be with His people in church.
John says that if we would love God, then we would love His Children. And if not, then we still walk in darkness.
What marks us as different from the world? What makes a hurting world take notice? When God's children love one another, as they have been loved.

Today we begin our series in 1 John called House. Pastor Jeff shows us the Apostle John's heart for God's children, that they stand on the foundational Truth of Jesus Christ and not on the lies of the world. He urges them to walk not in the darkness of the world, but in the Light of Christ. It's only in His light that we are purified and forgiven, and enjoy fellowship with God. Are you walking in the light? Are you a member of God's House?

Many times we do things without knowing the reason...we've just been doing them for a long time.It can be that way with church as well. The way we pray, sing or take communion can be driven more by tradition than by biblical thought.

Our 3rd message of the TXT series considers how to study the Bible.
In Isaiah 55, God invites us to Come and drink from His living words. And many desire to know God's Word better, but few are sure how to get there.
When we read the Bible, we use "Observation" questions to gather important facts that help us understand more about the text.
Then we use "Interpretation" techniques to find out the meaning of the text - developing principles we can later apply to our lives.
Our desire is to help you develop tools that will help you become a "self feeder" of the Word, and be sure you can make biblical sound applications of it's principles.

We've heard it said that the Bible is God's Word, but is it really? Is it reliable to use for truth in our lives? Or is it just written by a bunch of men?
Pastor Jeff shows us that God's Word is actually "God-breathed" and very reliable for our lives. There's nothing in there that cannot speak to us for our lives today...because it's directly from God to us!

What do you know about your Bible? Is it reliable? Is it still applicable?
This series answers those questions and teaches us how to use our TXT. In today's message, special speaker Brian Kingsley takes us through the history of our Bible, and how God used great men of faith, willing to die, in order to preserve the Bible that we have today.
Do we take our bibles for granted? Do we neglect it? Should we, in the light of all those who sacrificed their lives for it?

It's Super Bowl Sunday - and many are excited about their team. But watching the interviews, it seems our society is growing more individualistic all the time. And it looks no different in the church. But God never intended for us to do life all alone. Jesus modeled a lifestyle with his disciples that exemplified TEAM. And they "did life" together as they all learned how to look more like Jesus. And when the Game of Life came...the team was able to work together and have victory bringing others to Jesus! But after every big play, they returned to the huddle (Acts 2:46) to get encouragement and new strength for the next play.
At Lifecoast, growth Groups are a big part of what we do...it's where the church really meets!

Pastor Jeff closes our series teaching about the new levels we can get to by times of prayer and fasting. After a commitment, we can feel on top of a mountain spiritually, so close to God, but beware, with new levels come new devils. The enemy doesn't want you to be effective for God, and in fact, he would rather have you back at the bottom. So he's coming with all the old tricks to trip you up.
Pastor Jeff goes through Joshua to show us how to face those enemy kings that we face at new levels!

Sometimes God uses tragedy to remind us what is truly important. When notified of the Haiti crisis, and the Three Angels orphans who needed a home, God's love compelled His people to mobilize and pray, and we watched God work a miracle by getting the kids into homes in the U.S.
Paul tells us in 2 Cor. 5 that the love of Christ, who died for ALL men, should compel us to act in their behalf in everyday life! Whether its orphans in Haiti, or a neighbor on your street - many face a crisis of living without the Love of Christ. God's calling us to not live for ourselves anymore, but to live for others, and bring them home to the Father with the Love of Christ.

Pastor Jeff explores how praying and fasting can draw you closer to God in our thinking. It's important that we be transformed in our minds to God's thoughts and will. But we need to make sure our source for thinking is drawing from the Truth of God's Word, so that we can "love the Lord with all our minds."

Through Matthew 6&9, Jesus teaches us that fasting brings us into Agreement with God that we need more of Him, Alignment with God's Spirit so that we walk in His ways, and it brings the Assignment from God that mean a life filled with purpose and direction. Andrew Smith, Youth Pastor at Lifecoast, brings the second message of our series on Isaiah 9:6.
In our culture, we find many avenues to help us make decisions - Google, Bing, or Wikipedia. Isaiah gives us a promise that Jesus is our Mighty God - the one we can turn to in ALL circumstances, and the one who is able to take care of us in our troubles. Do we turn to Him, or the assistance form the world?

This Christmas we look at Isaiah 9:6, and the prophecy of the Messiah. Pastor Mike speaks about Jesus as our Wonderful Counselor. He is far superior then any worldly counselor. He is the Giver of Truth. He is our Guide in Life. He offers us support along the way. And He gives us great Hope for what's ahead!

Chris Irwin wraps up our Broken Series by speaking of broken dreams. Today's circumstances can make many of us feel as if we have never realized our dreams in life. We wonder if God is ever going to come through for us and bless us with the spectacular. But the Bible says that our dreams are secondary to the Big Story of God. And if we want to live a dream, we should realize God's Dream for our lives as it plays out in His Big Story of the Kingdom. It's time to live out His dream for us!

This week Pastor Mike deals with the hard subject of sexual immorality, and pornography. Of all the things we should be broken for as Christ-followers, purity is the most important. But the world we live in makes this all but impossible! The enemy has used the media in a mighty way to bombard us with impurity. Listen today as we tackle the problem of sexual impurity, and discover ways to break free from the bondage!

Our 4th in the Broken Series. Pastor Jeff shows us through the story of Jacob how broken relationships always have their root in our own selfishness, but ultimately rests in our broken relationship with God. Find out how to repair our broken relationships through reconciliation and humility.

Our third in the Broken Series as we deal with being broken financially. Many today find themselves in a tough position, but it's not because of the economy. More often than not it's because we don't understand God's Financial Principles. Look at 2 Cor. 9 with us and find that the key to being healthy financially, is to be a healthy giver.

Pastor Jeff continued in our Broken Series by taking us through the story of Jacob to show us sometimes we resist the road God has for us. We want the transformation that he has for us, but not the transportation God uses to get us there.
So, like Jacob, we take our own road at times, and suffer the hard consequences.
God allows this, and even uses these hard times in our lives because He cares more about our holiness than our happiness. Like Jacob, it's through brokenness that we come to the end of ourselves, and the beginning of God.

Pastor Mike brings the first of our Broken series by studying Naomi from Ruth ch. 1. All of us will at one time be in a broken place. It's in those times we need to ask ourselves 2 questions: "What am I doing?" and "What is God doing?" We need to know first of all how we got to the place of being broken. And we need to understand what God has for us to learn while there! God surely desires to use this time for our good, and for His glory!

Pastor Mike finishes our Daniel Series with chapter 12. Daniel has been given a vision of the End Times, where Israel will endure much trial, but be brought back into God's favor.
We look at The Book of Life, the Resurrection, and how we can shine like stars in heaven...all by Living with the End in Sight.

Pastor Jeff takes us through chapter 10, as Daniel fasts, prays, and receives a vision from the Chrysolite man.
Daniel 10 shows us the spiritual battle that truly is taking place around us, and implores us not to fall into apathy in this Babylon-world...but take up our sword and fight the battle for His Kingdom!

Pastor Mike takes us through Daniel 9, and the great prophecy of the 70 x 7's. The time of Israel's exile is almost over, and God's plan for them is about to be revealed. Daniel shows us that when we want to know God's plan for our lives, we need to study up (get in His Word), pray up (confess our sins and intercede for those around us), and look up (to the plan God is trying to unfold in and through us).

Many have heard the true account of Daniel and the Lion's Den, and how God saved His servant from becoming dinner that day. Pastor Jeff highlights Daniel's life to show why he was "highly esteemed" by God, after 65 years in Babylon. How do we have a Daniel-type life, and be esteemed by God, and rescued from our adversaries? Listen in to find out.

Alex Hill takes us through Daniel 5, where King Belshazzar is found arrogantly partying with God's Temple items...and God responds by writing his fate on the wall.

Daniel was given a vision of things to come. He received so much future information that he was greatly troubled. But like Daniel, as we see the times unfolding before our eyes, we can choose either to focus on all the negatively or we can choose to Live Above the Veil. God is in control and we can rest in that knowledge.
